Inspired by Light, Beauty and Intuition

Photography allows me to see my surroundings in a fresh new way.  It adds great joy and excitement to my life.  Looking through a camera lens changes my view of the world.  Close-up or macro photography allows me to see and unveil hidden beauty surrounding us.  Capturing the essence or soul of my subjects is a magical and transformative process.  A deep connection to the oneness of life opens in these moments of total presence.  Being outdoors is a big part in my life.  Nature is the best healer and "medicine" for me.  Therefore nature images are healing images.  In addition, the creative process involved in making art is healing and life enhancing.  Nature art touches me, speaks to me, takes my breath away, and ultimately lifts my spirit.  When my nature photography evokes these feelings in others, it has achieved its purpose.

My photographs have been shown at numerous locations throughout Wisconsin where I lived for the past 22 years.
