Distinctive hand-crafted Gold Jewelry

I design and fabricate wearable fine art jewelry. The pieces are versatile, like pendants which can be worn as pins, pendants with equally distinctive sides, or white gold which fades seamlessly to yellow.

The jeweler's bench is my sanctuary. I enter a miniature universe where intricate technical skill is required to build sturdy, durable structures, and at the same time, sculpture comes to life.

On the best of days, gold flows, stretches, and soars; on the difficult ones, it is forgivable and open to being reshaped or starting over from the beginning.

I have access to, and experience with, quality diamonds. Working with couples to craft exquisite, out-of-the-box engagement rings and wedding bands is one of the joys of being a goldsmith.

Every piece I create as a Goldsmith has its own personality. I work with recurring themes at times, but each stone brings its own voice, and each piece is borne of all the works which came before.

Passion Borne of Experience

I've worked as a goldsmith and jewelry designer since the early 1970s, at first in mainstream retail environments, and for a couple decades, side-by-side with equally quirky, wonderful artists. Loving the arts (and artists!) has led me to dabble in other media, but the passion for creating fine pieces with gold, silver, and gemstones stands alone for me.

Being an avid runner and occasional marathoner, I have several playful pieces with running-related themes.
