Liam is a self taught artist, working in many mediums.  He draws (pencil, charcoal, and pen and ink), paints (acrylics, watercolor, and combinations of the two), and sculpts (clay and stone).

While employed at a stone quarry and fabrication plant near his home town, and learning stone carving and stone finishing there, he developed his love for stone sculpture.

Recently Liam has decided to step away from his flooring and remodeling business to work on his sculpture full-time.  He plans to focus on garden sculpture that fit well into natural environments, though he is continually interested in any other sculpture ideas that someone might request.  He has many accomplishments in the areas of stone sculpture, including architectural sculpture on many buildings, custom stone fireplaces, lettering and stone signage, and has created sculptures of a large variety of animals and other subjects.

"I find great reward in making things for others to enjoy, unique things that help people to make their home a special place."

"In nature, and all of creation there is this incredible and wonderful diversity, that makes each location special.  By our surroundings we can know or feel that we are home, or in some other wondrous place."

"In our current times, with so many of our decorative items being mass-produced, I feel that beautiful things of nature and works of original art have never had so muck relevance and importance to our world and to us as individuals.  So I feel very privileged to be involved with the people I am currently working with."

"Edenvale Nursery is one of those wondrous places, if you haven't had the opportunity to visit here, I strongly recommend making a trip."

"Another place I enjoy is the Traverse de Sioux Garden Center."

"Stones Throw Gallery is a great place to go for original art by some of our areas most talented artists."
