Jan Jordan has had a passion for gardening since she was a child.  Her dream of having her own garden came years later when she and her husband, John, bought a home with land, in Kasota, MN.

Flowers have been her interest, especially the wide variety and beauty of daylilies.  She currently has 60 varieties.  She is known for her flowers as she appears at the Mankato Farmers' Market on Madison Avenue each Spring through Fall.

Jan wished there was a way to preserve the beauty of her daylilies, since she doesn't use them in her bouquets.  Each blossom only lasts one day.  Using the art of scanography, as she calls it, and working to perfect the technique, she was able to "capture" the beauty of these short-lived wonders.

As a new growing season approaches, she will be looking forward to adding more varieties.

The cards are presented on fine, linen textured blank card stock in natural color with a 1/2" insert border and include a matching envelope.  Each card, is then inserted into a clear cello bag for protection.
