David & Nancy Allan: Woodcarving

About Us
Artists David and Nancy Allan founded Winslow Woodcarving Studios in 1996.  Formerly educated as teachers, Nancy, a former art teacher, has many years as an artist and crafts person.  David, a former industrial arts teacher and university professor, has many years in woodworking.  Both have been woodcarvers for the past ten years.

About the Studio
Initially the studio offered hand carved residential signs and quickly moved to larger formats for cities and businesses.  A majority of the work currently being done by the Winslow Woodcarving Studio (WWCS) is dimensional signage.  In most cases, each finished piece is one-of-a-kind custom made to the customer's needs.
